Former US poet laureates Billy Collins and Donald Hall were guests on the Diane Rehm show yesterday.
It made me recall an excellent Billy Collins presentation I was able to record and post on the JCU website a few years ago.
It also led me to wonder: Couldn't we get more productive work out of our country's poet laureate? For example, he or she could take the state-of-the-union address and set it to verse or otherwise make it more bearable.
Anyway, writer John Ettorre also made note of Collins on his blog, Working with Words.
