Welcome to a discussion of the principles, pitfalls and payoffs involved in preparing and delivering speeches, scripts and other presentations. I’ll add a steady dose of original humor, too. Check this blog frequently for timely observations of a wry nature that you can use in your own presentations.

Nice video clip, Dad. Did you do this with your Fuji camera? I know there's flip cameras out there that do the trick, too, and can be bought at reasonable rates (even for you!). Suggestion - you might want to do your video with better backlighting. FYI I took you on your suggestion and put a video up on the JRH website: http://www.jrh-cleveland.org.
Yeah, it was just quick-and-dirty, but my idea of this type of posting is that it's impromptu and timely, so the simple, straightforward approach is intentional, although it needs to be a bit more polished. But I really don't mean for it to be a more formal marketing piece like you posted for JRH. Very nice.
Very interesting. Through this, I learned that my old JCU friend (with whom I'd lost touch) M.A. Flannery is now running one of my favorite venues on the planet, the Jesuit Retreat House. Also was saddened to learn about the demise of your Myrtle, Bald Eagle. You have my sympathies.
