'Truth is stranger than ...' department
So I come up with a quip on the Hudson River miracle (see 'TARP' below), how bank executives rushed to the scene when they heard someone yell "Bailout!" Then I open today's newspaper to learn that the US Airways passenger list included 23 Bank of America employees. It may have helped the rescue transpire so smoothly – they had already been through something like this.

Good thinking, Dad. Funny how the bank execs, thinking they were drowning, found themselves in a river of federal dollars keeping their ill-made skiffs afloat.
